With Thanksgiving approaching the theme of gratitude and giving thanks is prevalent. I was blessed this summer with the birth of my first child, a baby boy, and was able to take a step back from working in The Bakery. If it were not for my amazing staff I would have found myself in a difficult position trying to prepare for baby’s arrival and managing a business during its peak season.
Thank you to Tessa, Craig, Rachel, Stephanie, Jenn, Alix, Dana,
Patti, Aurora, Jon and Robyn
for all your hard work and allowing me to take time away stress free. While the entire staff rose to the occasion a special thanks goes to Tessa Mae for seamlessly moving into a management position and keeping the store running over its busiest season to date.
This summer The Bakery also celebrated its second anniversary.

Finally, with the help of customers The Bakery is pleased to present a cheque to the Sechelt Food Bank this Thanksgiving. With so many blessings in our lives it is great to give back to the community and help each other out.
